You park in Portsea car park and it is a short pier to walk down. The pier has heavy boat traffic near the lower landing so be careful if using this for entry and exit. A giant stride on the high side is always fun but check for depth before doing so. |
To the left of the pier is a reef. We have a great map in the shop so drop in and check it out. This pier is always busy with training divers. Can be affected by swell outside the heads. |

| Sea Dragon. Not as numerous as Flinders Pier but growing in numbers | Look for disturbed sand (black soil from under sand) there is usually a stargazer(Kathetostoma laeve) underneath.
