Car parking is limited so an early start or drop off your gear.

A giant stride is the best entry. done from where the divers are standing at end of park

You can explore under the pier, go through the swim through and follow
the reef, or circumnavigate the pier.

On exit if you don't like climbing ladders with your gear on you can swim onto the ledge and pass your gear up before climbing the two ladders.

Mornington Pier - this is an excellent dive site all year.  It is not diveable when the wind is over 15 knots Northerly.  There are toilets close by for changing into gear. Parking is a problem as there, due to fishermen, boats parking, and restaurant goers. Best to dive early or late in the day. Beware of boat traffic and stay on the surface until you are opposite the swim through (more detailed map in shop). The bottom is a silt rather than sand and it is best to stay off the bottom, especially new divers as it can silt up very easily and spoil the site for others.

You can see the reef from the aerial shot.

Sea Dragons are plentiful under the pier

Crabs in a number of varieties

Large rays and schools of fish are always to be found.

live it..dream it..dive it!!
